Product Description

Water Lily White is a beautiful and elegant choice of water lily. The dainty white blooms with spectacular golden anthers contrast excellently against the glossy, green pads. A neat and compact variety that is ideal for small ponds or water barrels on the patio. These tender lilies will require some protection from the cold winter weather, and are best lifted in autumn and stored in a frost free location. Tender varieties of waterlily must not be planted outdoors until all risk of frost has passed. Plant waterlilies in baskets of aquatic soil, with the rhizome just below the surface, and cover the top of the compost with a layer of gravel to prevent the soil washing away. Grow waterlilies in still water away from splashing fountains. Gently lower containers into the water and position them on temporary supports such as bricks so that they sit just 20cm (8”) below the surface of the water. As the leaves grow to rest on the water surface, the container can be gradually lowered to its final depth below the water. Product Specifications: Position in: full sun. Height: Up to 100cm. Spread: Up to 100cmSupplied 1 Bare Root Plant. Images shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results. Image may be included for illustration of supply but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months).
