Henry Rivers is a British illustrator whose mission it is to capture the wonderful places of the world in a playful, minimalist style. Having grown up on the Isle of Wight, art was always a big part of his life. As a boy, he would go to a watercolour group with his Grandma and was the youngest attendee by a good 60 years! Henry trained as an architect before becoming an illustrator. His keen eye for architecture shines through in his prints with his technical drawing training evident in his re-imagining of famous buildings. Henry's collection of contemporary travel posters combine his passion for travel and love of design. When away from the studio and exploring a new place, Henry will always have his sketchbook in hand, capturing the essence of a location in scribbles and sketches. Henry will re-visit ideas and re-tweak every few weeks. It can often take a year or so to go from scribble to the finished digital piece with the Art Deco travel advert has a huge influence on Henry's work which is captured beautifully in this piece of wall art that will make a great addition to any room in the home!
