D-C-Fix Frosted Self-Adhesive Vinyl Window Film – 90 x 150 cm This self-adhesive vinyl window film from D-C-Fix allows you to achieve a level of privacy in your home without having to sacrifice natural light entering the room. A fantastic alternative to traditional window dressings, it’s ideal for spaces where curtains may not be possible, such as bathrooms and in rented homes, or on smaller landing and utility room windows. In a frosted finish that allows light though without glare, application is incredibly easy. Just spray down your surface of choice with plenty of water then peel off the backing little by little. Stick it to your window, then smooth it down with a squeegee to eliminate any bubbles caused by excess air or water. Its low-tack adhesion means you can rest assured in the knowledge that it can be peeled back and repositioned if you don’t quite line it up right first time. This vinyl is fully removable, too, so if you ever fancy changing the look, you can use a hairdryer to heat it up before peeling it off. Any remaining adhesive can then be cleaned off with ethanol or soapy water. Please note: a 2 mm gap should be left around the edge of the film to prevent it attaching to the window seals, as well ensuring 100% contact and the best possible adhesion.
